Food Pantry

Trinity's food pantry serves Merchantville, Pennsauken, Camden, Cherry Hill, and surrounding areas.

When can I come for food?

The Food Pantry is open on Wednesdays from 9:30 -1:30 p.m. ONLY—no  exceptions.  You must be signed in by 1:15 p.m. to be served.  Please do not come earlier or later, or on different days.  Clients are limited to ONE visit per month.

What happens when I visit?

You must sign in on the signature sheet:

  • You must PRINT all information, including your COMPLETE current address (house/apt. number, street and town). 
  • You must indicate the TRUE number of adults and children residing in your household
  • You must include the qualifier (reason) code

Those who do not print and fully complete the signature sheet will be turned away.

What do I need to be eligible for food?

If you are a returning client, we will verify that this is the only visit from your household this month. If you have not completed an information form, we ask that you provide us with your information prior to receiving food.

If you are a new client,  we ask that you complete an information form and present one form of acceptable identification that states your current address.

Acceptable forms of ID are listed below:

  • New Jersey driver’s license (must be current)
  • New Jersey state-issued or county-issued ID card with your name and current address
  • Military ID card with your name and current address
  • Medicaid card with your name and current address
  • Social security benefit notification with your name and current address
  • Utility bill, lease or mortgage with your name and current address

What happens to my information?

The completed information form will be kept on file in our office.  After you complete the form and present an acceptable form of ID, you will continue to fill out the signature sheet each time you come to the Food Pantry

If you change your address, you must present ID with the new address.

How many bags of food can I get?

The number of bags depends on family size.

What if there is more than one family living with me?

Persons residing in the same household/same address will be treated as ONE family.
